Hud Concept

Here's one of my concepts for a character named Hud. He's the main character in an upcoming sci-fi epic from Badassery Studios. More updates on the project to come. You can read a full 24 page comic featuring Hud here. The comic was created on 24 Hour Comic Day and was completed in 21 hours. I Livestreamed the entire event so people could watch me attempt to create a comic book in 24 hours.

Hey there! I'm Chris Shehan. I'm currently 21. I've been drawing all my life. Ever since I found out that artists like book cover illustrators, comic artists, and artists for film make a living creating art, I knew I had to be a part of that. My senior year of high school in 2009 I got serious and worked very hard on my artwork and it led to my first comic job on a mini series called Hell Paso. I did pencils and inks for issue 5 and helped with inks and colors on issue 6. Since then I've been on and off with small freelance jobs and am working towards being a professional mainstream comic artist.

The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my path to my goal. I'll share my art, stories and experiences that have to do with breaking into the industry, and I'll share informative videos and tutorials explaining both my art process, and my artistic experiences.
